Scholarship Introduction:
Edinburgh Global Master’s Scholarships
The University of Edinburgh will offer 20 Master’s scholarships for postgraduate study in any subject offered by the University for the 2010-2011 academic session.
Each scholarship will have a value of £3,000 which will be tenable for one academic year.

Eligibility for scholarship:
The scholarships will be awarded to students who are accepted for admission on a full-time basis for a postgraduate Master’s programme of study at the University of Edinburgh from the following countries:
Africa (List of African Countries)     Mexico
Canada     Middle East (List of Middle East Countries)
China     Norway
Hong Kong     Russia
India     Singapore
Japan     Taiwan
Korea     Thailand
Malaysia     USA

Applicants should already have been offered a place at the University of Edinburgh and should have firmly accepted that offer or be intending to do so.
The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit. Candidates must have, or expect to obtain, a UK first class or 2:1 Honours degree at undergraduate level or the international equivalent.

Important dates:
