Introduction
The Association of South African Women in Science and Engineering (SA WISE) is a dynamic association for all those who support the idea of strengthening the role of women in science and engineering in South Africa.
SA WISE aims to strengthen this role by inter alia:
- raising the profile of women scientists and engineers
- highlighting and addressing problems faced specifically by women in these fields
- lobbying for the advancement of women in science and engineering
- providing leadership and role models for young people wishing to enter the fields of science and engineering
Each year SA WISE awards the Angus Scholarship, to a Sub-Saharan black woman graduate with 70% or above grade average in her subject ofstudy. The scholarship is awarded for 1 year of tertiary study at Honours level (or 4th year level of study) in any field of science and engineering. South African applicants will be given preference. The successful applicant should become an active member of SAWISE.

I have a bachelor Degree in Agricultura resource Economics and Management from Debub university Currently I am working in one of Ethiopian states,in ENVIROMENTAL PROTECTION ,LAND MANAGEMENT AND RESOUCE USE AUTHORIY BUEAU AS SENIOR EXPERT OF FROSTER. I have a 2(TWO) years work experience I have a great desire to continue my future education to MSc level fields related to Sustinable development or Environmental science, or training.To deliver & perform my responsibility fully to the rate that my country expected & to participate in the development endeavors of my country by making myself part of the solution I need further education. Hence it is my firm motive to study my MSc in Sustinable development , Environmental Science or short term training.
