ARC PhD Scholarship Opportunity: The use of an online intervention to improve asthma self-management 2009
Scholarship Introduction:
The Centre for Health Initiatives at the University of Wollongong and the Asthma Foundation NSW are calling for applications for PhD scholarships. This project will identify and pilot test an appropriate implementation strategy for an internet-delivered self management program, from formative through to evaluative stages. The successful applicant will have: First-class honours (or equivalent) in public health, education, information technology or a related field An understanding of online education principles, and some exposure to online delivery of education and/or health information in their previous studies An interest in asthma, and some exposure to chronic disease self-management and/or health behaviour change in their previous studies.
