ARTS UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS NEW ZEALAND 2009 – UNIVERSITY OF AUCKLAND

Faculty of Arts Ngati Whatua O Orakei Undergraduate Scholarships, University of Auckland

Scholarship Introduction:

The Scholarships were established in 2009 and are financed by the Faculty of Arts at The University of Auckland.

The purpose of the Scholarship is to further develop the relationship, based on the Memorandum of Understanding, between The University of Auckland and Ngâti Whâtua o Ôrakei. This initiative will develop benefits for students of Ngâti Whâtua o Ôrakei by supporting the Ôrakei Trust Board to realise their education goals. These scholarships are intended to encourage Ngâti Whâtua o Ôrakei students to study for a BA in a Department or School in the Faculty of Arts.

Eligibility for Scholarship:

Applications by way of a letter and form close with The University of Auckland Scholarships office on 30 September in the year preceding the year of the award.

How to apply:

The Scholarships are tenable by students who are beneficiaries of the Ngâti Whâtua o Ôrakei Maori Trust Board.
