Bravewell Fellowship 2012 in The Bravewell Collaborative at USA
About Bravewell:
As Bravewell looks to the future and to the improvement of the health of our nation, we see our work as two-fold: (1) to accelerate the adoption of integrative medicine within the health care system and (2) to facilitate the creation of a culture of health and wellbeing throughout America.
Detail:
The Bravewell Fellowship is designed to support exceptional medical doctors, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants with demonstrated leadership ability, an interest in integrative medicine and the potential to have an impact on improving the service and delivery of health care and increasing the health and wellbeing of patients.
Eligibility:
This fellowship is available to physicians (MD and DO), nurse practitioners and physician assistants who would begin the UAFIM program in January 2011 and graduate in December 2012. Interested applicants must contact a Bravewell Clinical Network center to receive a letter of endorsement as a requirement for submitting an application.
Tuition Fees:
The Bravewell Fellowship covers the UAFIM tuition, provides a supervised 120-hour clinical experience at a Bravewell Clinical Network center, and covers the lodging for three 1.5-day Bravewell Fellow Gathering events which immediately precede the UAFIM Residential Week programs in Tucson, Arizona. Additional costs associated with the Fellowship studies including supplemental learning materials, travel, and UAFIM Residential Week lodging and other incidental expenses are not covered by the Bravewell Fellowship and are the responsibility of the Bravewell Fellow.
Application Process:
Bravewell Fellows are selected following a review of fellowship applications. The Bravewell Fellowship Program Application Guidelines are available for download below.
