CASH MUSIC SCHOLARSHIP FOR OVERSEAS STUDIES 2009/2010 – HONG KONG
The Composers and Authors Society of Hong Kong Ltd. (CASH) is now inviting applications for the CASH Music Scholarship for Overseas Studies 2009/10 in the field of music composition (serious or pop music). The Scholarship is financed by the CASH Music Fund and administered by Composers and Authors Society of Hong Kong Ltd.
The Scholarship was set up in 1994 with an aim to provide financial assistance to outstanding and talented candidates to undertake study or training in music composition at universities or educational institutions outside Hong Kong. More than 10 award recipients have furthered their music education in leading universities and institutes in the U.S.A., United Kingdom and Australia since its launch.
Scholarship value and Details:
The Scholarship is tenable for the duration of up to one year. The maximum value of the Scholarship is HK$165,000 towards tuition fees, living expenses and a return air passage. Applicants should be Hong Kong residents preferably of age 30 or under at the time the Scholarship commences.
Application Deadline:
The closing date for application is March 31, 2009 and the result will be announced in May.
