Geology Centennial Awards 2009/2010 – The University of Auckland NZ
Scholarship Introduction:
The Geology Centennial Awards were established in 1984 to mark the centenary of the teaching of Geology at Auckland University.
The Awards will give financial help with research-related expenses connected with thesis work in Geology by Masters and BSc (Hons) IV students.
Eligibility for Scholarship:
• The Awards are open to Geology students enrolled in courses for:
• (i) BSc(Hons); or
• (ii) MSc
Application for an Award shall be made through the candidate’s supervisor and the Director of the School to the Scholarships Office by the 30 September preceding the year for which the Award is sought.
How to apply:
The Awards shall be made by the University of Auckland Council on the recommendation of a Selection Committee comprising the Director of the School of Geography, Geology and Environmental Science (or nominee)and the academic staff contributing to the Geology Programme.
Approximately six weeks after closing date by letter.
