Greta Ostova Violoncello Scholarship 2009/2010 – The University of Auckland NZ
Scholarship Introduction:
This Scholarship is a bequest of the late Greta Ostova, a former member of the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra and a distinguished musician and teacher. It was established in 1989.
To assist students to further their music education in the violoncello overseas.
Eligibility for Scholarship:
Application forms available from the School of Music.
How to apply:
The Scholarship shall be awarded by the Council on the result of an examination to be conducted by the Head of the School or Deputy, with the assistance of another member of staff from the School of Music; and a third examiner, who will not normally be a current member of staff in the School of Music.
A Scholar may reapply for a Scholarship in the year following the Scholar’s first holding but not thereafter.
