Kathleen M. Peabody, CPA, Memorial Scholarship 2009 – the Educational Foundation for under graduation


Scholarship Introduction:

Scholarships are administered by the Educational Foundation of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants, Inc. and are available for both undergrad and grad students.All awards were presented at the Society’s 2009 Annual Meeting & Recognition Reception in May. Scholarship funds are issued directly to the individual and can be used at the discretion of the individual (e.g., for tuition, books, interviewing expenses, etc.).

Eligibility for Scholarship:

• Full-time undergraduate accounting major who will be entering their junior or senior year;
• A legal resident of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts;
• Superior academic standing;
• Financial need; and
• Intention to seek a career in a public accounting firm.
