The University of Manchester Equity and Merit Scholarships for bangladeshi students 2009-10
Level: Postgraduate/PhD
Requirement:
- The scholarships are aimed at applicants from disadvantaged backgrounds.Be a resident citizen of Bangladesh and have not previously studied or worked abroad
- Be aged below 35 years at the time of application
- Have a masters degree from a public university with a minimum overall score of 70% for science and engineering subjects and 55% for arts and social sciences.
- Candidates who have studied for either an undergraduate or postgraduate degree at a private university are not eligible to apply
- Have an overall IELTS score of 6.5
- Be committed to return home and able to demonstrate potential to make positive impact on the future of Bangladesh
- Have a clear idea how studying in the UK would benefit both he/her career and the country
Facility: The scholarships cover full tuition fees, return international airfares, and living expenses.

The deadline is 30 May 2009. Applications received after this date will not be processed. We regret that we will not be able to contact unsuccessful applicants. Applicants who have not heard from us by the end of June 2009 should assume that they have not been successful.
I am an ethiopian student . i have Bachelor degree in mathematics , Now i have got scholarship in belgium at hasselt University in the department of Biostatistics. But The University Doesn’t cover the living cost to me except the tuition fee. therefore, how can i get a grant for the study. I want any organization or person that supports me financialy. So , if can you help me by giving any advise? If you can help me , if not please tell me how can i get supporter.
