The Enterprise Fellowship Awards aim to inspire the next generation of Nottingham entrepreneurs. Through this second call, we are offering up to three fellowships to researchers who want to further develop their innovation and explore the route to successful commercial exploitation
Eligibility:
1.Applications are invited from doctoral students and post-doctoral researchers whose research is related to one or more of the Engineering and Physical Science Research Council (EPSRC) priority areas
2.You or your supervisor will need to have an idea arising from your research which you believe has commercial potential and want to develop further
3.Candidates must have submitted a thesis (viva does not need to have taken place) prior to the start of the fellowship or be within four years post doctoral award. Fellowships must commence by January 2011

Award:
Each fellowship will offer a year’s salary to the researcher, and research related costs, travel and professional development (conditions apply). Guidance from experienced mentors will also be available. Three runners-up will receive a £2,000 award to further develop their innovation or explore the route to successful exploitation
Application process:
The application process is via the University’s vacancies website. Short-listed applicants will then be invited to present their innovation to a panel
