Undergraduate Scholarships 2010-University of Glamorgan UK
Scholarship Introduction:
n the UK and around the world, there is a growing need for scientists, engineers and mathematicians. At Glamorgan, we are proud of our tradition and reputation in these fields and, as part of this commitment, we have awards to help develop the pioneers of the future. Worth a total of £4,500 over three years, this award is for high achievers who apply for a subject within the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics.
Scholarship Eligibility:
This scholarship is available for students starting degree courses in 2010, who will be liable to pay the flexible home rate of fee
There are 200 awards to be won. To be eligible, you need to:
- apply to Glamorgan by 15th January 2010 and firmly accept our offer by 5th May 2010
- apply for the Excellence Award by 5th May 2010
- achieve 340 or more UCAS points in your final exam results (from three A-levels, or two A-levels and the Welsh Baccalaureate or 27 points in the International Baccalaureate) (qualifications obtained outside of the UK will be assessed on an individual basis)
- be a UK or EU student and therefore liable for the UK rate of fee.
- be successful in your University exams and assessments at the first attempt.
