UKTI'S INDIA MARKETING SCHOLARSHIPS
UKTI’s India Marketing Scholarship is designed to give London SMEs a rounded understanding of the importance of effective marketing in India. The scheme, supported by the London Development Agency, has been set up in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Management in Ahmedabad (IIMA) one of the leading schools of managment in India. Duration and benefits:
The course will run for 5 days and cover essential areas of marketing important for business to business success in India. Ten scholarships are available, including all tuition and accommodation costs; The course will be delivered by leading marketing professionals in the IIMA and cover some of the following
- Marketing to the Indian customer – customer psychology
- developing a competitive marketing strategy
- building customer value models
- developing segmentation and positioning strategies
- media trends, advertising and marketing communications
- pricing approaches
- building and sustaining working relationships
Selection onto the programme will be competitive.
Venue Details
The course will take place within the grounds of the Institute of Management of Ahmadabad, Gujarat, India. Accommodation and food will be provided as well as learning materials.
The selection process is competitive. Places will be awarded to those candidates and companies best placed to take advantage of this significant opportunity. The first stage of selection will be through a paper sift of applications.
Deadline:
The deadline is Monday 16th February 2009. Those short listed will be invited for interview at UK Trade & Investment in London.
