UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP 2010-JAMESCOOK UNIVERSITY AUSTRALIA

JamesCook University Undergraduate Scholarship 2010-Australia

Scholarship Introduction:
The Faculty of Arts, Education and Social Sciences introduced the Accommodation Scholarship in 2006 in order to reduce the burden of accommodation and living expenses for a student wishing to commence study with the Faculty.

  1. There will be one scholarship awarded each year. The scholarship will contribute to the cost of a full year of accommodation and meals at one of the JCU Halls of Residence in Townsville or at one of the student residences in Cairns (ie Oyster Court or Campus Lodge) to the maximum value of $8,000.
  2. The successful applicant will be able to choose the particular college and style of accommodation. If a self catering option is chosen by the student the Faculty will pay the accommodation plus up to the equivalent value of $8,000.
  3. Funds for the accommodation will be paid directly to the student residence each semester.

If the recipient elects to leave the residential college after the first semester the scholarship will lapse.
